The Bromley Repeater Group is non-committee style, user group which is constantly expanding. Individuals are volunteers who give their time freely and who want to assist Tony, G1HIG the repeater keeper, in one way or another with the upkeep of GB3OK VHF Amateur Radio Voice / EchoLink Repeater & GB3LK UHF Amateur Radio Voice Repeater covering London, Essex and North West Kent.

We are a totally independent, non-profit organisation and receive absolutely no funding from any other source.  So far, all the costs for developing this project, the purchase of the equipment, the site rental and all peripheral expenses, have been bourne by the members of the Committee.  However, the continuing success of GB3OK & GB3LK will depend on us being able to collect funds from from the Radio Amateurs that frequent the repeater.  To this end we turn to you for assistance.

Please assist us by making a small donation to the group.  No amount is too small.

All contributors (known as "Supporting Members") will receive a mention on the Supporting Members page of our website (with a link to your e-mail and website addresses), and those making a donation of £10 or more can have a free redirected e-mail address with the "@gb3ok.com" extension.  It can be your callsign, your name or anything else you require (but not offensive).
NOTE:  Names are limited to 45 characters and must be created from the character set of A-Z, a-z, 0-9, '_' and '-'. The name cannot contain spaces.  For example, g0abc@gb3ok.com or joebloggs@gb3ok.com or joe-bloggs@gb3ok.com would all be ok.

About our free e-mail re-direction offer.  The way this works is that we set up an e-mail alias of "yourname@gb3ok.com" with your own preference in place of the "yourname".  It works exactly like any other e-mail address, except that mail sent to you under this name is automatically re-directed to your existing e-mail.  The person sending the mail doesn't know it's been re-directed and you read the e-mail along with the rest of your mail.  However, just like any other e-mail, we can only have one of each name.  Aliases will be issued on a "first come, first served" basis and we can only issue one of each name.  So!  Get in quick before somebody else gets the name you want.

It's safe too.  No mail is actually kept on our server and there is no way we can read your mail.  It's exactly as it's stated, a re-direction service.  Simply CLICK HERE to view a printable version of our "Supporting Members" form.  Print it out, fill it in and send it off with your donation.  Don't forget to tell us your existing e-mail (where the new mail will be re-directed to) and your preference for the new e-mail address.  We will do the rest and you'll be able to start using it straight away.

We would like to point out that this is a free service and is still under trial.  As such we cannot make any guarantees as to it's reliability or that it will continue forever.  However, having said that we can see no reason why it should ever fail or be withdrawn.  Your donation should not be considered a payment for the purchase of this service.  Instead, think of it as our "thank you" to you for you support.
